View ProjectDesigned a designated Air Canada family page for desktop booking. The goal of the project was to improve the User experience for families booking flights and other products from Air Canada. The current state of business involves customers calling the Air Canada call centre to make family bookings, resulting in over 60% of the call volumes (based on data given). My role was to develop and design a better digital user experience and design the desktop landing page as well. I achieved this reviewing the business needs, most popular customer concerns, reviewing and changing the websites copy, cos the current literature contained words and phrases that made the process more complex. Using Adobe XD, I was able to present a sample of what the final developed project would be like.
Afro Cart is a Canadian marketplace start up for buying and selling African and Caribbean food stuff as well as other household items. The current website is plagued with user experience difficulties owning to a lack of proper information architecture and complex user interface. Following consultation with the founders, a redesign was implemented to fix the crucial pain points in the user experience. This resulted in creating a simple and step by step user interface that eliminates the confusion that users face, while also achieving the business goals by ensuring that site and app visitors sign up for the service and also enjoy and easy to use platform that will in-turn lead to more referrals.
